Summit, trying to rush much? This is making me nervous...
As EW reports, Summit is trying to rush into completing New Moon because they want the movie to be released Nov 20th next year. This means, rushing to choose a director, (Chris Weitz still seems to be their first choice) rushing to choose new cast members and rushing to start pre-production... I am telling you twilightgeeks, this is making me nervous. I would much rather wait another 8 months and get a great movie rather that see the movie soon and be disappointed, besides, the anticipation can be sweet! Also, apparently there are still doubts about Lautner at Jacob, come on people! don't you know that changing any cast member at this point would only ruin it for the fans????? Nervous is an UNDERSTATEMENT. This movie can't be rushed, or the werewovles may end up looking awful. Sometimes, I get the feeling they just want to throw something out there, because they think the fans will be happy with anything. I also don't want them to rush through the bonding between Bella and Jacob. I heard they were trying to find a way to work Edward into the movie more, but I agree with Rob, in that it will take away from the big reunion at the end. *SIGH* I'm worried.
