Says Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke in this new MTV interview. Her comment: "We could see a movie by the end of 2009 beginning of 2010" raised goosebumps down my back! I just hope they don't rush, on this one, the effects need to be GOOD, period! Otherwise, a human suddenly exploding into a wolf will look like an exploding piece of fruit... Unfortunately, Hardwicke was not signed to direct New Moon. (See Previous note)

Whoa, I'm reading now that she won't be back. It's all over the internet.
Now what? I know Twilight wasn't the best movie out there, but it's fanbase is HUGE so we all turned out for our favorite series, and for the actors. The more I see the movie, the more I like it. It's like my beloved Harry Potter, each movie stands alone, away from the books.
How will this affect Pattinson and Stewart? It seemed like they all had a good bond with Hardwicke.
I'm a little nervous, I have to admit. I'm going to cross my fingers that they hire someone that will do a good job. I hear many names being tossed around, but I'm not excited about them. I wasn't excited about Alfonse Cuaron for PoA, but he did an awesome job.
This also comes at a really bad time for Hardwicke, since she's out promoting the movie. What a mess.
