Here we go again...Summit is rushing to secure a date they don't even know they will be able to keep, all because they want to have a spot within summer released movies. Personally, I am concerned, the only way I can see this happening is if they keep Chris Weitz as the director for Eclipse, simply because he will be used to the dynamic, the actors and the crew, even if a new director was hired and he started preparing as New Moon is being shot, it will still take a miracle to have this movie on screens in June.
As in the past, beloved books in the same fantastical genre, brought to life on the screen, deliver better results when their production takes the time necessary to deliver a good film (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings). True fans do not mind waiting, Summit most know that, specially Twilight fans...we are crazy about these stories, how could we possibly mind waiting?!
With this said though, I leave the movie business to the movie business and hope that they know what they are doing. One thing is for sure, I will never forgive them if they ruin this saga for us.

I agree. I fear this mad rush for money will ruin a quality reflecting that of Potter or Lord Of The Rings being realized. I know I may get attacked for this but the Twilight film was lacking and I have no intention of watching it more then once. The actors, writers, and all else that goes into producing a film need to be given time to develop. I think they believe tween-agers will go crazy and watch it no matter how much time or effort they invest so why even try.
I agree Sophia, although I liked the cast I thinks the movie could have been WAY better, let's hope they know what they are doing...
