New Scoop on the New Moon Script
This is what Ashley Green, aka Alice Cullen, had to say about the New Moon script on the red carpet at the premiere of Push: "I felt like a spy reading it," she said. "It does come very close to the tone and the events that are in book 2. There are a couple of things that were changed which I think make it more interesting for the visual medium but nothing that will upset fans of the books. I think it is safe to say that it will make everyone happy."
What I am Reading Now...
Fablehaven: Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary
About Fablehaven
I am on the last book and I have to say I have enjoyed the series in general. Brandon Mull is very creative and at times he truly surprised me! It is definitely a book for kids, even though some of the situations are very adult. I still have a problem with the dialogues, for some reason they don't feel real, as if it wasn't the characters talking. Again, they end abruptly and feel disconnected, but counting that aside, the descriptions are reach and the world of Fablehaven is very complex, enough to keep me reading and interested. I started reading the first one just for fun and here I am on the fourth one. They do get better and better. If you are looking for something entertaining to read, I recommend this series.

Fabbleheaven...a fun enigma!
I still don't know if I loved the book or not, it was definitely fun, ingenious at times and just plain redundant at others. In my opinion, the characters lack dialogue, there is so much to learn about this magical preserve, yet the conversations between the Grandfather (caretaker) and the grandchildren are just very abrupt. It is a book for children no doubt but, there are parts that are, in my opinion, too scary for children under 10, those parts even spooked me! Overall, I enjoyed reading Fabbleheaven, it was fun, I will probably get the second one as the introduction to it at the end of the first book looks really interesting. If you are bored out of your mind and are looking for something to pass the time, I recommend this book, the fairies are way cool!!!
And the winner is...
60% of you absolutely LOVE Twilight!
What I just read... (As recommended by Stephenie Meyer)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Hunger Games....UNEXPECTED!
Well, Stephenie Meyer is right, this book is hard to put down, but also, it is not easy to read, mainly because I found it very crude as is set in a very foreign United States far into the future. Once again, the characters are between 12 and 18, but the difference between these children and those of other books is that these children have no hope, so from the beginning you know you are in for a wild ride. Sure the story of the book's events come to an end but... (I don't want to give anything away), so I look forward to see a second book soon! I recommend this book, but don't go in there expecting wizards and magic, although it is truly just an imaginary tale it is also a check on a cruel reality in the made up cruel country of Panem.
Harry's Review of Twilight
I love aintitcool.com. It is one of my favorite "geek" sites. I specially like Harry's reviews since I have come to relate to his way of thinking. His reviews are the ones I look forward to the most when a movie comes out... So I thought I'd share with you his review of Twilight! He liked it and that meant a lot to me since he was very ready to make fun of it. Harry's Review at aintitcool.com My advise: if you love movies, find a reviewer that shares your point of view and follow them to the end!

Midnight Sun is Shinny!
Well, no matter how guilty I felt... I read it! I admit it and it is FANTASTIC!!! I cannot believe Stephenie Meyer says the writing is flawed; besides a few words missing or some extra here and there, there is nothing wrong with the book. It is incomprehensibly FASCINATING!!!! Not only you get to know Edward so much better but you get to like Bella even more once you see her through his eyes. The details that fill in the empty spaces left by Twilight are intriguing and through his mind you get to know everyone else REALLY well, Mike Newton, Alice, Emmet, Rosalie, Japer, Carlile, Esme, Angela and the even more detestable Jessica! PLEASE, I encourage you to read it. IT is without a doubt my favorite book and is not even finished. TRUST ME if you where not ruling for Team Edward before... you will NOW!!! Well, it is finally here and it was worth the wait! The New Trailer is unreal!!! I have to admit that I have been a little nervous about the movie because of my high expectations and all, but after watching this trailer I feel more reassured! I have to say that, no matter how much of a Geek I am and against all my might, I will probably wait to see the movie in the morning rather than go to the midnight showing like I would normally do; I am worried that all the screaming teens may interrupt my daze.... Enjoy the trailer! Cara, the TwilightGeek

"Don't be afraid," I murmured "We belong together." I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words. This moment was so perfect, so right. There was no way to doubt it. His arms wrapped around me, holding me against him... It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire. "Forever," he agreed.
